concrete paving with embedded keys
"Faça aqui", curator Thais Rivitti, Ateliê397, Sao Paulo
The original paving of the sidewalk in front of Ateliê397 was replaced by a concrete floor with embedded keys, arranged in parallel lines, equally distanced, all of them oriented to the same direction, towards Ateliê397's front door. Among the keys embedded in the sidewalk, lied the one that opened the front door. The work also included a new paving for the premise's inner corridor, where the keys were randomly distributed, similarly to floors seen in sidewalks in front of Brazilian locksmiths.
